What it does

Four basics

  • INCREASE Adds 1 to V. Costs 1 cycle.
  • DECREASE Subtracts 1, and stops at 0. Costs 1 cycle.
  • JUMP_NOT_ZERO Jumps to L when V is not 0. Costs 2 cycles.
  • NEUTRAL Leaves V unchanged. Costs 0 cycles.

From the file to a run

  • Load one XML file. Degree 0 is the program as written. A higher degree rewrites each shorthand line into the lines it is made of.
  • Highlight a variable or a label to mark every row that uses it. The # cell sets a breakpoint, and Debug stops there before that line runs.
  • x1, x2, and the rest are inputs. z variables are scratch space. y is the single result. An input you leave empty stays 0.
  • Show opens the variables from a finished run. Rerun fills that same degree and those same inputs, then waits for Run or Debug.
